The casual viewer may never notice this change and chances are most routine viewers may even be unaware of the technical shift. But Mad TV decided to take its new wonderful budget and hire a new camera crew that has effectively altered the once visual appeal of Mad's lower quality production. Instead of presenting themselves as the ugly red-headed step child with a great personality once you got to know her, they have become the stunningly attractive blond with no substance.

Dawdler
Double Bogey
I know what you mean YP, I always made sure I was home when Mad TV was about to come on and the last year of two I didn't feel the same excitement as before. A family friend who is also a comedian and friends with some cast members mentioned that the older cast members get more say and are able to push their ideas, no matter how bad and the new cast members are not given any comedic leeway. He also mentioned that Bobby Lee tries to get naked in every skit he comes up with

nice job :cheers4:

I will like to mention that I have no problems with red-heads. I like all woman especially if they are hot.

And yes, Dawdler, I'm not surprised. I suspected that the older cast was getting more leeway and that's sure to change a show. They've been doing it for how long? I mean Michael McDonald and Bobby Lee have been on the show for ever. If you give them power they will want change because otherwise they'd be bored.

You know, while I find those two to be the funniest on the show, they really come off to me as arrogant. Michael McDonald just seems like the guy that would say, "F- you! I'm Mad TV. People love me. And you're using my idea or I walk."

It's a shame that the show has hit that low. I used to love it.

Oh, and yea, Bobby Lee seems to hate clothes. What's the deal with that? Though, I do still enjoy his "24" parody.
